William Fraser is seen here in the uniform of the Lovat Scouts for the Boer War.

He is the first of Edderton's deaths.

He died on the 24 August 1914 aged 44 before going overseas and was buried at Huntingdon Cemetry with full military honours.

He was the son of John and Annie Fraser. Before reenlisting he resided at Blair Cottage and was a Blacksmith. He died from pneumonia.
